I have an international interdisciplinary background, including science and innovation in academia, business, politics and policy. My work encompasses identification of critical opportunities to support the development of major research projects in public, private and non-profit organisations. I understand, anticipate and meet stakeholder needs, and develop and implement effective integrated strategic communications and marketing plans to support longer-term visions.

I have two degrees from the University of Edinburgh - American Studies (1st Class MA), during which I spent a year at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a MSc in Transatlantic Studies.  I was also a Graduate Fellow the University of California Center, Washington, D.C. (UCDC).
