Biography
I am a veterinarian with a PhD in Virology, passionate about molecular virology, vaccine development, and GMP applications. After graduating from Selcuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, I completed my PhD at Ondokuz Mayis University. Currently, I am working as an academic visitor at The Pirbright Institute, focusing on PRRSV immunology. My research interests include viral diagnostics, genome analysis, and developing effective vaccines for animal health, aiming to advance veterinary virology with practical solutions. Research interests
My research interests focus on molecular virology and viral genome analysis, with a particular emphasis on vaccine development and GMP applications. I am interested in PRRSV immunology and understanding host-virus interactions to develop effective control strategies. My work also involves diagnostic methods for viral diseases in livestock, including real-time PCR and molecular diagnostic techniques. I have a strong interest in cell culture-based virus propagation and adaptation, as well as using next-generation sequencing (NGS) for detailed viral characterization. Through these areas, I aim to contribute to the development of effective vaccines and practical solutions for improving animal health. Projects you're working on
