Biography

As a research veterinarian holding a Master's and PhD degree Anita Michel has spent 20 years in diagnotics and research on mycobacterial diseases at the Onderstepoort Veterinary Institute in South Africa. In 2009 she joined the University of Pretoria, Faculty of Veterinary Science, to expand her research on diagnostics, epidemiology and control of bovine tuberculosis and brucellosis. She is currently heading the Faculty's Bovine Tuberculosis and Brucellosis Research Programme.

Efficacy of S19 and RB51 in African buffalo.
