I received my D.V.M degree in 2004 from faculty of veterinary medicine, University of Tehran. In 2008, he received his DVSc (Ph.D.) in avian medicine from University of Tehran, working on molecular characterization of Iranian H9N2 isolates. I joined Pasture Institute of Iran as an assistant professor, in 2008. After that, I joined Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran as an assistant professor, 2012. My undergraduate and postgraduate program in veterinary medicine and poultry disease encompassed approximately 70 courses across basic and clinical medicine. I was awarded a NIH Fellowship and went on to do my postdoctoral training at University of California, Irvine. There, I studied the whole genome sequencing, RNA sequencing and new approaches for diagnosis of infectious diseases. I published three papers retrieving from my US jobs. At present, I am a lecturer and associate professor at Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Tehran and doing so many projects as supervisors of DVM and Ph.D. students (National and Regional). My research interest is on viral agents of poultry respiratory diseases, especially in Avian Infectious Bronchitis, Newcastle Disease, and Avian Influenza. Our research fields are on molecular epidemiology and surveillance of the mentioned agents (Sequencing, full-genome analysis, phylogenetic studies) and pathogenesis and host-pathogen interaction with novel techniques . With my efforts over the recent years, I have promoted my Laboratory (ghalyanchilab.com ) as a national reference laboratory for Avian Infectious Bronchitis(Approved by Iranian veterinary organization). In addition, I have many experiences in private companies as an advisor and clinician. The situation would be good the opportunity for me to understand the problems of the industry in detail and try to find the best way to solve them. I have also participated in several organizing committees in academic and non-academic areas, which demonstrate my leadership skill. I am the main advisor of Iranian Veterinary organization in the diagnosis of agents, molecular epidemiology and vaccination issue. During my academic life, I published around 70 papers in different national and international journals. My h-Index in scholar google is 8.
