Biography
Beatrice is a postdoctoral fellow in a collaborative research between Northeastern University, Boston, MA, and Moderna Inc., Cambridge, MA, USA. Her research investigates complex in vitro models for pre-clinical evaluation of the safety of drug compounds. She completed her PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology of Infectious Diseases at WACCBIP-University of Ghana. As a short-term scholar, she did her PhD research in Ann Moormann's laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, Worcester MA, USA, investigating genetic associations of pediatric lymphomas. After completing her PhD, she took a postdoctoral scientist position in Lisa Cavacini's lab at MassBiologics, Mattapan, MA, USA, where she optimized human and mouse fusion models to generate monoclonal antibodies with diagnostic/therapeutic potential for Lyme disease. Beatrice's hobbies include volunteering and community service. Research interests
