Dr. Abas Adde Abukar is a final-year veterinary medicine student at Somali National University in Mogadishu, Somalia, with a strong passion for One Health and advancing the interconnected well-being of animals, humans, and the environment. Dedicated to tackling public health challenges through collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches, he has participated in multiple One Health campaigns and research projects, including his thesis on the prevalence and distribution of Glossina species in Middle Shabelle. As an emerging leader and advocate for sustainable health solutions, he strives to bridge the gap between veterinary science, public health, and environmental stewardship to create healthier, more resilient communities.
