My current research interest involves transboundry animal pathogens of agricultural and zoonotic importance such as foot and mouth disease virus (FMDV), rift valley fever virus (RVFV), African swine fever virus (ASFV), Rabies virus and African horse sickness virus with focus on bio-surveillance, diagnostics, molecular epidemiology and vaccine development

Research interests

Vaccine development for transboundry animal diseases, Molecular epidemiology of infectious and zoonotic diseases, bioinformatics

Projects you're working on

Evaluation of antigenic and genomic methods to assess foot and mouth disease virus vaccine selection and performance in Nigeria
