Biography

Jesse FFA is a veterinary clinician and scientist in ruminant medicine field. He works in the ruminant disease affecting small ruminant, large ruminant and deer. He works in the bacterial, viral and parasite diseases in ruminants and his work focuses on vaccine development, biomarkers ( Acute Phase Proteins, Heat Shock Proteins, Cytokines), correlations of ruminant disease affecting reproduction efficiency in ruminants, clinical pathophysiology of ruminant disease, wastewater in ruminants and other related to the extension of ruminant study (translational research).

Research interests

Ruminant disease affecting small ruminant, large ruminant and deer. Research Interests in the bacterial, viral and parasite diseases in ruminants and his work focuses on vaccine development, biomarkers ( Acute Phase Proteins, Heat Shock Proteins, Cytokines), correlations of ruminant disease affecting reproduction efficiency in ruminants, clinical pathophysiology of ruminant disease, wastewater in ruminants and other related to the extension of ruminant study (translational research).

Projects you're working on

Currently Projects as below:

1. Caseous Lymphadenitis (CLA) killed vaccine using Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis local isolates to control CLA infection among small ruminants.

2. S.aureus killed vaccine using local isolates to control S.aureus mastitis infection among dairy cows.

3. ORF vaccine using local isolates to control orf infection among small ruminants.

4. Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis (CLA) research

5. Pasteurella multocida type B2 (Haemorrhagic Septicaemia) research

6. Manhaemia haemolytica research

7. Wastewater from ruminant livestock research

8. Mycoplasma ovis involving small ruminant research.
