I completed a Bachelor of Aquaculture at Nha Trang University in Vietnam (2004), an MSc in Fisheries Science (2010) and PhD in Appiled Biological Science (2018) in University of Miyazaki, Japan. My research interest is on fish and shrimp diseases and aquatic animal health management.
I am interested in the use of immune-stimulants and vaccines to enhance defense mechanism in aquatic animal against pathogens and stress factors.
I have focused on the lactic acid bacteria isolated from fermented food and screened them to select the potential probiotics, also study on application of these probiotic as fish feed additives to stimulate growth and enhance the disease resistance of fish, and to reduce the use of antibiotic for a sustainable aquaculture.
