Olasoju Mary obtained the degrees of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) from the University of Ibadan in 2006 and 2009 respectively
She's currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the same Institution.
Mary carried out collaborative research on Comparative Study of Indicators of Public Health Importance in Conventional Yoghurt and Local Soft Cheese Processors in Kwara State, Nigeria.
On-going work includes Contaminants of non-biological origin in foods of animal sources and their Public Health Importance with special emphasis on enzymes of toxicological significance.
Mary is a member of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, National Association of University Women, and the Community Platform for African-European Partnership in Agricultural Research for Development Phase II.
Food safety, Epidemiology, Antimicrobial Resistance and Virulence biomarkers of zoonotic food borne pathogens.
