Biography
        I am Professor of Comparative infectious disease within the School of Applied Sciences at Edinburgh Napier University, and co-lead for the GRA Animal Health  & Greenhouse Gas Emissions Intensity Network. My work focuses on endemic livestock disease and livestock zoonoses. I am involved in a number of national and international multi-disciplinary research programs in the UK and in sub-Saharan Africa where I have a particular interest in diagnosis, transmission, and epidemiology.
