Biography
I was born on February 28, 1984 in Thailand. I enrolled at Mahidol University in 2002, receiving B.SC degree in Biology in 2005. Then, I entered the M.SC (2007-2009) and Ph.D (2011-2015) program in Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering at Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Mahidol University. My M.SC and Ph.D. thesis showed the title of "Effectiveness of double stranded RNA targeting YHV and PmRab7 on prevention of YHV infection " and "Molecular mechanisms of Yellow head virus internalization and entry into Penaeus monodon", respectively. I am currently employed as a researcher at the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)
Research interests
I am interested in opportunities related to the prevention and control of diseases in aquatic animals caused by pathogens such as viruses, bacteria and microsporidian parasite. My specific focus lies in the development of vaccines. Moreover, I am interested in the study of antimicrobial resistance in aquatic organisms.
