Dr. Salisu Ahmed main research interest is in the field of vaccine development and Bioinformatics, including gene editing using CRISPR technology, microbial genetics and antimicrobial resistance on living and non-living biosystems. Dr. Ahmed has made a notable contribution to veterinary virology through the development of a vaccine against Fowl Adenovirus, addressing a critical need in avian disease prevention. He has authored several scientific publications and actively participates in academic conferences.
