Biography

I am a Postdoctoral Immunologist working at the Oxford University in the Emerging Pathogens Vaccine Programme with particulate interest in immune response towards Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever Virus (CCHFV) and other Nairoviruses to aid effective vaccine design.
Before joining the Jenner Institute, I obtained my MSc degree in Biology at the University of Belgrade, where I was working for several years as a research assistant on different scientific projects in the area of Immunotoxicology. I completed my PhD at the Medical University of Vienna where I worked in the area of Vaccine Development on the project with a strong emphasis on constructing a mucosal vaccine candidate and appropriate adjuvants for prevention of the neglected ocular surface disease trachoma, caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.
