Biography
I obtained my PhD from Uppsala before joining University of Oxford as postdoctoral scientist, Principal investigator at University College London, and in 2013 I joined The Pirbright Institute as head of Avian Immunology group. I have extensive experience in cellular and molecular immunology of mice, chickens and humans and have worked for more than 20 years in infectious and cancer models.
Research interests
Avian immunology, vaccinology, Marek's disease virus, Avian Influenza virus, local and systemic immunity involved in protection against poultry infectious diseases
