Biography

Maria Sol Pérez Aguirreburualde, DVM Ph.D., is an International Research Development Program Leader and Deputy Director at the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She received her DVM (2009) and, subsequently, her Ph.D. (2014) in animal virology and vaccine development from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at the University of Buenos Aires.

Research interests

My research interests focus on understanding the determinants of the efficient deployment and management of veterinary vaccines programs as interventions to improve animal health and food safety programs in resource-constrained settings.
