Biography
My research focus is shrimp immunology and host-pathogens interaction. I received Ph.D. degree since 2012 by mainly focused on yellow head virus response in Penaeus monodon. During the PostDoc, EMS-AHPND coming and we are the first team who can explore the virulence mechanism of Vibrio sp. and launched the most effective detection platform. My current position is researcher at BIOTEC, under Aquatic Animal Health Research Team. Recent research is aimed to understand the phenomenon of shrimp survived virus infection, especially the high virulence one called WSSV. Cracking of the viral accommodation mechanism is on-going and hope to find the efficient way for viral diseases mitigation in shrimp. Research interests
