I graduated from biochemistry and did my master and PhD theses in immunology at the University of Belgrade. My research interest were immune response in rodent models of autoimmune diseases and infections, with the aim to modulate these conditions.  Recently, I have taken interest in studying immune responses to emerging pathogens in domestic animals. Of particular interest is the Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic fever virus and the development of vaccines and immune intervention strategies for human diseases.
