Conference overview

Day 1 – Tuesday 25th May – 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

Collaborating not competing – connecting Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Knowledge exchange (KE) professionals will present their experiences of the barriers and enablers to collaboration, focusing on solutions and best practice. How can HEIs broker sustainable relationships and create serendipitous connections that lead to sustainable collaboration, particularly in the current online context? What are the challenges to capturing impact and evaluating KE across institutions?

Day 2 – Wednesday 26th May – 11:00am to 12:30pm

Developing the KE ecosystem – partnering with industry. Presenting current case studies, this discussion will focus on the elements needed to create sustainable partnerships with industry. What are the pillars for a successful KE ecosystem? How can culture clash between HEIs and industry be better understood?

Day 3 – Thursday 27th May – 11:00am to 12:30pm

Lessons learned from delivering large-scale KE programmes. The closing session will review lessons learned from a selection of Research England Connecting Capability Fund projects. What are the drivers and motivations for large-scale KE programme? What added value does participation in large-scale KE programmes provide organisations and academics?
