Join the Aquaculture Research Collaborative Hub UK for some insightful career talks from members of the team and prominent Early Career Researchers within their field.

If you are an ECR within the field of fish health and welfare, or you are just interested in hearing about research in this area – this webinar is for you!

Dr Jason Holland was appointed the new ARCH-UK Fish Health and Welfare Working Group Lead soon after achieving a Lectureship position in Fish Health and Aquaculture at the University of Aberdeen. Join us to hear Jason talk candidly about his career in fish host-pathogen interactions, offering some sage advice to Early Career Researchers (PhDs and Post-Docs) about pursuing an academic career. As well as giving an overview of his research to date, highlighting priority research areas and future directions for novel immune therapies and vaccine development, Jason will also introduce the next generation of fish health researchers – Dr Sean Monaghan (University of Stirling) and Dr Annette Boerlage (Scotland's Rural College) – who will add immunological and epidemiological perspectives before the floor opens for questions.
