Virtual congress on COVID 19 vaccines

There is an unprecedented need to develop, manufacture, test and distribute safe and effective vaccines to fully control the COVID-19 pandemic.

The International Society for Vaccines (ISV) is launching a virtual congress series as the leading platform for key COVID-19 vaccine developers to share their progress and for the global vaccine community to contribute their collective wisdom so the entire global community can enjoy the benefits of vaccine protection in the near future.

Invited speakers will cover a broad range of topics:

  • Nucleic acid vaccines.
  • Recombinant vector vaccines.
  • Subunit and viral particle vaccines with adjuvant.
  • Inactivated vaccines.
  • Other novel vaccine platforms.
  • Challenges for vaccine development (safety, efficacy model and testing, scale-up, etc).

Global partners will include both public and private organizations.

The first ISV virtual congress will take place on Monday 22 June 2020, 09.00 - 12.00 Eastern Daylight Time (UTC−4).

The virtual congress will use Microsoft Teams, and registration for the 22 June congress is free to scientists worldwide with an interest in COVID-19 vaccines. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Please see the ISV website for more information.
