Early Career Researcher Travel Fund

Funding for standard travel and accommodation support for the following activities:

• Poster/oral presentation on coronavirus-related research at national/international meetings (£250 domestic or £500 international travel)
• Coronavirus-focused laboratory or skills exchange activities (value of award assessed on a case-by-case basis)
• Applications must be received a minimum of 1 month prior to the event
• Re-imbursement to be made retrospectively in GBP (£)

Low and Middle-Income ECR Scholarship

UK-ICN are dedicated to supporting the movement of ECRs globally and have ring-fenced a proportion of travel bursary funding specifically for LMIC members. LMIC scholarships are limited to two awards per year, each to the value of £2000.

In addition to the general ECR criteria (as stated above), applicants of this fund must also belong to an institute within a low- or middle-income country as defined by The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Full terms and conditions within the application form.
