Moredun Fellowship in vector-borne disease
The Moredun Group is seeking a suitably qualified post-doctoral scientist to join us as a Fellow within Moredun Research Institute. You will be a highly motivated individual who is aiming to establish an independent research career. This is an exciting, 3 year funded, fellowship opportunity in infectious livestock disease research with emphasis on vector-borne viral pathogens of livestock. The Fellow will develop a research programme on new approaches to control vectors and vector-borne viruses of livestock in temperate regions. This work may include zoonotic pathogens, and/or research to better understand host:vector:pathogen interactions. You will work with a number of research and development teams during the three-year period, contributing to the Moredun Group’s Strategic Plan.
