JOB VACANCY: Network Administrative and Communications Assistant

The IVVN are seeking a Network Administrative and Communications Assistant to join the IVVN Network Management Team and contribute to the range of networking, funding and outreach activities currently delivered by the network.

The IVVN, based at The Roslin Institute in Edinburgh, is a global network of over 1,000 members and the aim of the network is to facilitate the formation of international collaborations to improve vaccine development for livestock and zoonotic diseases in low-and-middle income countries (LMICs).

The Network Administrative and Communications Assistant will be responsible for the administrative and communications tasks associated with running a large network grant. The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to provide administrative support to the IVVN (including organising events and administering funding calls), creating content for IVVN communication channels, and curating the IVVN members database.

The nature of the work will require a combination of administrative, communication and organisation skills, and excellent attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an international network of researchers and to develop skills in science administrative and communication.
