WOAH Priority Vaccines for AMU Reduction: Stakeholder Survey
Deadline: 12 December 2025, midnight CET
The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) is updating its list of priority diseases for which vaccines could meaningfully reduce AMU in pigs, chickens, and fish - three sectors accounting for the majority of global antimicrobial consumption in food-producing animals. This work directly supports commitments made in the 2024 UN Political Declaration on AMR, with clear lines of sight to the 2030 targets.
This update builds on WOAH's 2015 prioritization exercise. We are seeking to understand:
- Did the 2015 list influence your priorities or portfolio decisions? Your feedback will help us assess real-world impact and refine our approach.
- How can WOAH best engage research networks with the updated "Top 6" priority list and vaccine target product profiles (TPPs)? We want to ensure our outputs are actionable for investment decisions.
- What support would help align around shared R&D priorities? Your insights will shape our communication, dissemination and exploitation (CDE) plan for 2026-2030.
We are asking for 8-10 minutes for IVVN members to complete a brief survey.
WOAH PRIORITY VACCINES FOR AMU REDUCTION: STAKEHOLDER SURVEY
Your responses will be treated confidentially and reported only in aggregate.
Your participation will directly inform how WOAH engages the research community - from dissemination strategies to opportunities for collaborative action around implementation support.
We would be grateful if the survey could be completed by 12 December 2025, midnight CET.
